Katarzyna Jóskowska

Assistant Professor at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz. Since 2020, she has also served as the Head of the Centre for Specialised Languages in Medicine at CM. She holds an MA in Classical Philology and English Philology and earned her Ph.D. in Humanities, specializing in literary studies, from NCU in Toruń. Her research primarily focuses on the role of Latin in language instruction, investigating how Latin can effectively enhance language learning and comprehension by leveraging its unique characteristics and connections to other languages. Her objective is to develop innovative methodologies and techniques for teaching and acquiring languages. Additionally, she actively explores the didactics of specialized languages, aiming to bridge the gap between theory and practice. She strives to create practical frameworks, teaching materials, and methodologies that optimize the acquisition of specialised languages.
