Ta ostatnia zyskuje tu szereg egzemplifikacji na poziomie analizowanych materiałów źródłowych. Prezentowane studia źródłoznawcze łączą się z nowymi ustaleniami oraz stanowią podsumowanie dotychczasowego stanu badań nad wspomnianym zagadnieniem. Problematyka źródłoznawcza przedstawiona została w kontekście refleksji teoretycznej.

The book is a collection of articles from the area of interdisciplinary medieval studies. The research issues undertaken focus on historiographic traditions and the cultural phenomenon of memory. The latter is exemplified here in a number of ways at the level of the analyzed source materials. The presented source studies are combined with a number of new findings and constitute a summary of the current state of research on the aforementioned issue. The source issues are presented in the context of theoretical reflection.
